Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati has been released JEE Advance results on 18th June 2023. Vavila Chidvilas from Hyderabad became all India first rank topper with the highest score of 341 out of 360. Among the girls, Nayakanti Naga Bhavya Shree topped the list. She also belongs to Hyderabad. She got 298 score out of 360.

According to Amit Ahuja, Career counseling expert, category rank will also be declared with all India rank. Qualified students could take admission on 16598 seats in 23 IITs for counselling. According to the JEE-Advanced Information Bulletin, subject-wise and average cut-offs had already declared to the students to included in merit list.

Subject-wise 10% and average 35% for general category students, 9% and 31.5% are mandatory respectively for OBC and EWS category students. At the same time 5% subject-wise and 17.5% average is mandatory for SC and ST category students.

This year the quota for girls in IITs will be 20% and EWS reservation will be 10%. The total marks for the paper was 360 in which phase-I and phase-II paper was around 180 marks.

To take admission in IITs and NITs, JOSAA counseling will be held between 19th June and 31st July in six rounds.

In counseling, students will have to fill more than 700 college’s branches of 116 colleges including 23 IITs, 32 NITs, 26 TripleITs and 35 GFTIs in the decreasing order of priority.
