The School Education Department of Madhya Pradesh Government has issued a controversial order, in which an advisory has been issued regarding Christmas. It has been clearly stated that children cannot be a part of it without the written permission of the parents.

The heat over the BJP government's loudspeaker order in Madhya Pradesh had not yet subsided when another controversial order has been issued, in which a direct warning has been given to the schools.

It has been clearly stated that if Christmas is organized in the school and children have to be included in it, then written permission of the parents will be necessary. Before this, no advisory has ever been issued to schools regarding any festival in the state. Not only this, it has been made clear in the order that if this does not happen then direct action will be taken against the school operator and the principal.

It has been said in this order that schools should inform parents about this circular. Schools have been told that if complaints are received in this regard, unilateral disciplinary action can be taken against your organization.

District Education Officer Vivek Dubey said that complaints have been received earlier also. This does not mean that such an order amounts to a ban on Christmas programs in schools.

He further said that this circular does not ban any program in schools during the upcoming festive season. Earlier, many such complaints had come in which parents had said that their children were being made a part of such programs in schools without their consent, and the purpose of the circular is to stop such incidents. It is better to pay attention to such disputes rather than taking action after the incident occurs.
