CBSE Exam 2024: CBSE Board Exams begin today

The Central Board of Secondary Education examinations for class 10th and 12th are starting from today i.e. 15th February. CBSE Board has already made complete preparations related to the examination. The board has also made proper arrangements at the examination centers to prevent cheating in the examination.

On the first day of CBSE board exams, class 12th students will appear for the Entrepreneurship, Kokborok, Capital Market Operations and Physical Activity Instructor exams. At the same time, students of class 10th will appear in the examination of Gurung, Rai, Tamang and Sherpa in painting on the first day.

It is noteworthy that more than 39 lakh students will appear for the examination in the state, whereas in Ajmer region, around 3 lakh students will appear in this examination.

CBSE Board has already issued guidelines to the students appearing for the examination to be followed at the examination centres. Students will not be able to appear in the exam at the examination center without the admit card.

CBSE class 10th and 12th exams will be conducted from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. However, some exams will be conducted from 10:30 am to 12:30 noon. Class 10 examinations will be conducted from February 15 to March 13, 2024, and class 12 examinations will be conducted from February 15 to April 2, 2024.

CBSE Board has also warned students and parents against rumors regarding paper leak. Students have been appealed not to believe the wrong information coming on social media.

CBSE Board has issued a guideline for all the students of class 10th and 12th going to appear in the exam. According to the board, it is mandatory for all the candidates appearing in the board examination to follow it, otherwise it may be difficult to appear in the examination. Be sure to read the important guidelines issued by the board before leaving home.

CBSE Board has given strict instructions to the students before using any electronic device or any unfair means in the examination hall. Therefore, students should understand that if they are caught doing something like this, the board can cancel their examination at any time.

CBSE Board issued important guidelines:

  • Students must reach the examination center at least 30 minutes before the examination time.
  • No student will be allowed to appear for the examination without CBSE Admit Card.
  • Students going to appear for the exam should not forget to carry the admit card to the exam center.
  • Sharing of belongings is not allowed in the examination room, so bring your own stationery.
  • Do not bring any unauthorized material for copying in the examination centre.
