CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 exams to begin from March 9

New Delhi: Amid the speculations of a possible delay in conduction of the exams due to assembly elections in five states, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday announced that the examinations will begin from March 9, 2017.

The CBSE board also released the schedule of the Class 12 examinations.

Earlier, a circular was issued assuring no delay in CBSE board exams of Class 10 and Class 12.

Earlier, it is being said that the board will release the complete examination schedule by January 15 and the examinations will be held from March 1.

The polls are scheduled to be held in Uttar Pradesh from February 11 to March 8 in seven phases.

The other states to go on polls are Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur.
