A big news is coming regarding CTET exam. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date to apply for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2024). Candidates who want to appear for CTET in July 2024 can now apply for it till 5th April 2024.

Application forms for CBSE CTET 2024 July will be filled through the official website ctet.nic.in. Let us tell you that earlier the last date to apply for CTET July 2024 was 2 April. Candidates who want to become teachers of class 1 to 8 will have to appear in CTET July Exam 2024 to obtain the eligibility certificate.

Issuing the notice, CBSE said, “The last date for submission of online application for CTET July 2024 has been extended till 05/04/2024 (before 11:59 pm). In case of any technical problem while filling the CTET application form, please contact 8802580447.

As per the schedule, CTET 2024 July exam is to be conducted on July 7. This examination will be held in two shifts. Paper 2 examination will be held in the first shift. This exam will be held from 9.30 am to 12 noon. Whereas the exam of Paper 1 will be conducted in the second shift from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.

CTET score valid for life time:

CTET certificate is a qualifying certificate, which is valid for life time. Candidates who qualify this exam can apply for teacher posts in central government schools like Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), Central Tibetan Schools.

This certificate is also applicable to schools under the administrative control of Union Territories of Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman-Diu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT Delhi.

CTET certificate is also considered valid by unaided private schools.

Schools owned and managed by state governments, local bodies and aided schools can consider the TET conducted by the state government. However, if any state government does not conduct State TET then it can take recruitment on the basis of CTET.
