Admission begins in Four year graduation program at IGNOU

Students will now be able to do 4-year graduation course from Indira Gandhi National Open University, IGNOU. IGNOU has announced to implement FYUP i.e. Four Year Under Graduation Program in many courses. These include many courses from Arts, Commerce and Science streams.

UGC Chairman M Jagadish Kumar has launched these courses. He said that "FYUP is a necessary reform and with this, students across the country will have the opportunity to take admission in these courses."

Admission has been started for the courses. Students can apply for admission till 31st January. In these courses, students will have the option of multiple entry and exit. The special thing is that students can leave the course at any level and get a degree or diploma.

Students will get this facility after completing courses:

• They will get a certificate after completing the first year of studies.

• Diploma after 2 years of study. After completing three years, they will get a graduation degree.

• On completion of 4 years course, they will get Honors degree.

• After doing Honors, they will be able to complete post graduation in just one year.

Courses are available like BA, BA Economics, BA History, Economics, History, BS Political Science, BA Psychology, BA Public Administration, BA Sociology, BA English, BA Hindi, BA Sanskrit, BA Urdu, BA Social Work, BSc, BCom, BA Facilities and Services Management, BA Philosophy, BA Journalism and Digital Media, B.Sc Anthropology and B.Sc Biochemistry.
