239 vacancies in Neyveli Lignite Corporation

Vacancy details and salary:

There are 100 vacancies for Industrial Trainee/SME and Technical (O&M). The duration of training for this will be 03 years. During the training period, the candidate will be given a stipend of Rs 18,000 in the first year, Rs 20,000 in the second year and Rs 22,000 in the third year.

There will be recruitment on 139 posts of Industrial Trainee (Mines and Mine Support Services). The duration of training will be 03 years. During the training period, the candidate will be given a stipend of Rs 14,000 in the first year, Rs 16,000 in the second year and Rs 18,000 in the third year.

Age Range:

The age of the candidate who belongs to the General/EWS category should be 37 years while age criteria is fixed 40 years for OBC (NCL) and 42 years for SC/ST category.

Educational Qualification:

• Industrial Trainee/SME & Technical (O&M):

Applicant must have 3 years diploma in engineering course. Diploma Lateral candidates must have passed 12th and completed 2 years duration.

• Mines and Mine Support Services for Applicants:

The applicant must have passed the 10th board. He must have done ITI (NTC) in any engineering trade from recognized institutes.

Or

10th pass with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in any engineering stream.

Selection Process:

Selection will be based on three categories including Written Examination, Document Verification and Medical Examination.

1. Written Examination: Applicants will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written examination. After the written examination, merit list will be prepared on the basis of reservation.
2. Document Verification: Candidates will have to present the original documents asked for in the notification sent by email at the centre.
3. Medical Examination: Selected apprentice will have to undergo medical fitness examination as per NLCIL medical standards.
