21 IIMs Directors will participate in World Management Conference

IIM Sambalpur, one of India's premier management institutes, will host the 9th Pan-IIM World Management Conference in Sambalpur, Odisha from 21 to 23 December 2023. The theme of this conference, to be organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Government of India and Indian Institutes of Management (IIM), has been kept as 'Entrepreneurial Innovation and Digital Governance for Inclusive and Sustainable Growth'.

All 21 IIMs of India will participate in the conference. Apart from IIMs, the conference will also be attended by institutes like IITs, NITs and other premium management institutes from India and across the world.

Prof Mahadev Jaiswal, Director, IIM Sambalpur, while revealing the objectives of the Conference, described it as an important opportunity to foster professional networks, preview current research and share our contributions. He said that this conference will be attended by a large number of professors, researchers, doctoral students, industry professionals and alumni of various IIMs and will have open discussions on topics related to them.

While describing the conference theme, he said that 500 delegates including scholars, industry people, CEOs and top government officials are expected to participate.

Attendees of the three-day conference can benefit from publication opportunities, interactive workshops, informative sessions and roundtable discussions with respected scholars, policymakers, and corporate leaders.

Research papers on various management-related topics can be submitted for participation.

The Pan-IIM World Management Conference is organized every year on a rotation basis across different IIMs. This year it has been decided by all the IIMs to organize the 9th Pan-IIM World Management Conference at IIM Sambalpur, as the institute has state-of-the-art infrastructure.
