Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has issued his first order from the custody of Enforcement Directorate (ED). Is Delhi government now running from jail...? Sources said that amid the debate whether Arvind Kejriwal can continue to work as the Chief Minister of Delhi from jail or not, Arvind Kejriwal has today issued his first order from the custody of the Enforcement Directorate.

AAP leader Atishi said that due to ED's custody, Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal directed to provide adequate water tankers in the areas facing water shortage. Also instructions have been given to solve sewer problems.

Atishi said in the press conference that Arvind Kejriwal considers entire Delhi as his family.

Sources said the order pertains to the water supply of the national capital and the Chief Minister issued it through a note to Delhi Minister Atishi, who holds the department. Let us tell you that Kejriwal has been sent to the custody of Enforcement Directorate till March 28 in the money laundering case related to Delhi Liquor Policy.

Aam Aadmi Party has made it clear that despite the arrest, Kejriwal will remain the Chief Minister. Although no laws prohibit it, prison rules would make it very difficult. Sunil Gupta, a former law officer of Delhi's Tihar Jail, says that a prisoner can have only two meetings in a week.

Sunil Gupta said "It is not easy to rule from jail. The jail manual says you can meet your family, friends or colleagues only twice a week. So it is easy for them to rule with these restrictions." Will not done." He says however, there is a way. Kejriwal can continue as Chief Minister if he is able to get the authorities to put him under house arrest. However, this will require the approval of Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena.

Sunil Gupta said, "The administrator has the right to declare any building a jail. Many times court premises have been designated as temporary jails. If this happens, then Kejriwal will not be able to run the government from jail. Help may come. But considering the history of conflict between the Lieutenant Governor and the AAP government, such an order from the LG office seems impossible.

BJP says that Kejriwal no longer has any right to remain on the post of Chief Minister, hence he should resign.
