ED at Hemant Soren's Delhi house

Enforcement Directorate sleuths reached at Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren's house in Delhi on Monday reportedly to interrogate him in connection with the alleged land scam case lodged against him.

He was not found there. The agency has started its interrogation.

Many MLAs like Baby Devi, Mathura Prasad Mahato, Mangal Kalindi, and Savita Mahato have reached the spot. The meeting is going on, but the CM is not present. According to media sources, Hemant Soren is reaching Ranchi by road. It will take a few more hours for the CM to reach Ranchi.

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha's Central General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya said that Hemant Soren has given time to ED for questioning via email. It was written that "CM is ready for questioning on January 31 at 1 pm."

At the same time in protest against the ED action, JMM workers left Ranchi's Morhabadi area for Raj Bhavan via CM House. Slogans were raised loudly against ED and the Central Government.

As per the reports, Soren reached Delhi residents on January 27 at 11:30 PM where he met with some political leaders. After this, he went missing.

It is also claimed that Soren may be arrested. For this, the police in Jharkhand have been alerted. Apart from the CM House in Ranchi, security at the BJP office and the houses of senior leaders has been increased.
