Six killed as car rams into truck in Muzaffarnagar

According to the police sources, the incident occurred when the ill-fated car having six persons was on way to Haridwar from Delhi.

Six people were killed, when the car in which they were travelling, rammed into a truck in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday morning.

According to the police sources, the incident occurred when the ill-fated car having six persons was on way to Haridwar from Delhi.

The mishap happened on the National Highway 58 under Chhapar police station area in Muzaffarnagar district.

Sources said that the driver of the car lost his balance while overtaking the truck and the vehicle crashed into the truck from behind.

The collision between the car and the truck was so strong that a part of the car was blown to pieces. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police team immediately reached the spot, took out the bodies from the car and sent them for post-mortem.

The victims were identified as their families have been informed about the accident.

It is being told that the Delhi number car going to Haridwar collided with a 22 tire truck from behind on the highway. There was hue and cry on the spot after the accident. As soon as information about the incident was received, local people also reached the spot.

There were six people in the car, including the driver, who died. The police reached the spot and pulled out the car from under the truck with the help of a crane and immediately took the injured to the hospital, where doctors declared everyone dead. The police is now investigating the matter.
