In an incident reflecting the style of functioning of the police, cops in Bihar were caught on tape throwing the body of person, who was killed in an accident, into a canal in Muzaffarnagar district of the state.

A video from Muzaffarpur district of Bihar is becoming increasingly viral on social media. It is seen in this video that the policemen picked up the body of a person who died in an accident on Hajipur-Muzaffarpur NH- 22 and threw it in the canal.

During this time, someone made a video of this action of the policemen, which later went viral. As soon as the video went viral, demands for action against the policemen started rising. The local people created a ruckus regarding this.

A middle-aged man died after being crushed by an unknown vehicle on the bridge under Fakuli OP area on National Highway-77.

Meanwhile, on receiving information about the accident, the police reached the spot. During this time, the police committed inhuman acts and threw the body in the canal instead of sending it to the hospital for post-mortem.

A passerby made a video of the incident of the body being thrown from the bridge into the canal and circulated it on social media.

Here, as soon as the police got information about the body being thrown into the canal after the accident, a large number of villagers reached the spot and started creating ruckus. On receiving information about the commotion, Fakuli OP police immediately reached the spot and two SAP personnel entered the canal and pulled out the dead body from the water.

Senior Superintendent of Police Rakesh Kumar later said that the viral video was investigated in which three policemen were found guilty. In these, the driver constable has been suspended. At the same time, disciplinary action is being taken by removing two house guards from duty.
