Till now you must have seen humans or sometimes monkeys drinking alcohol, but do you know that rats are also fond of drinking alcohol?

A similar shocking case has come to light in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. Here, many bottles of liquor seized in the warehouse of the police station were emptied by rats. The number of these bottles is around 60. Rats were gnawing on these bottles and sipping the liquor and the worried policemen were searching for them. This matter is very much discussed.

According to media reports, the police had seized all these liquors from illegal sellers. The case of the accused from whom it was seized is pending in the court. Now it has become a big challenge for the police to present the seized liquor bottles before the court.

According to the police, when seen in the warehouse, the liquor bottles were gnawed by rats. Due to this the liquor had leaked. The liquor cartons kept in the storeroom of the police station were cut by rats. About 60 small plastic bottles of liquor kept in it were also gnawed. Due to this, the liquor kept in the bottles leaked and the cartons became empty. The police cleaned the warehouse and also took evidence. According to the police, the police station building is very old due to which rats have made many paths here. They also chew the ganja kept in the storeroom. Many times they have even gnawed important documents.

There is terror of rats in other offices including District Hospital, Collectorate, Education Department. Rats are causing harm to patients and dead bodies in the district hospital. The hospital has even spent lakhs of rupees on pest control to catch the rats. Even after that the hospital has not got rid of the rats.
