Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena President Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi shot dead

Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena's national president Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was shot dead at his residents in Shyam Nagar area of Jaipur on Tuesday.

Singh was sprayed with bullet by unidentified assailants at his home. He was immediately taken to the Metro Mass Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Gangster Rohit Godara has taken responsibility for the murder of Gogamedi. After the murder of Gogamedi, people associated with his organization started protesting.

According to the police, Gogamedi lived at Shyam Nagar Janpath, Jaipur. On Tuesday afternoon, around 1:30 pm, two miscreants entered his house. As soon as they saw Gogamedi, they opened fire. Gogamedi was shot four times. On getting the information, Shyam Nagar police reached the spot.

There was an uproar in the entire state after his murder. Protests started in many districts including the capital Jaipur, Sikar, Churu, and Kota. The protesters entered the Kota City SP office premises and created a ruckus.

Rohit Godara posted on the social media platform after the incident writing "Ram Ram, to all the brothers I am Rohit Godara Kapurisar, Goldie Brar. Brothers, we take full responsibility for the murder of Sukhdev Gogamedi today. Brothers I want to tell you that he used to meet our enemies and support them. He used to work to strengthen them. As for the enemies, they should keep their pyre ready at the doorstep of their house. We will meet them soon," Godara said in his post.

Police said that a case has been registered and a massive search has been launched to nab the culprit.
