In a shocking incident a minor was allegedly raped and left bleeding on the streets on Ujjain town in Madhya Pradesh.

The victim was found in an unconscious condition in Murlipura of Mahakal police station area of Ujjain. The police admitted her to the hospital for treatment from where she was referred to Indore after her girl's condition became critical.

Sources said that the victim had suffered serious damage to her private parts and that she had lost a lot of blood. Ujjain SP has constituted an SIT to probe the incident.

The girl kept wandering for two and a half hours covered in blood in Sanvarakhedi Colony of Ujjain. The girl also asked for help from a young man standing outside the house, but the young man did not help her.

Mahakal police station has received footage of the girl, in which she is seen pleading for help on the road in a semi-nude state. The police have started investigating the case and are searching for the accused. Uttar Pradesh Police has also been contacted.

The incident is said to have happened on Monday. The girl was found unconscious in the evening near Dandi Ashram located on Badnagar Road, Ujjain. The girl's clothes were soaked in blood.

The doctors have confirmed to the police that the girl was raped during treatment. During the rape of the girl, her private parts were damaged, due to which the condition of the innocent child worsened. However, the girl's condition is gradually improving. The police has also started searching for unknown accused with the help of CCTV.

The incident has triggered a huge backlash, and the opposition parties accused the MP government of failing to ensure safety of the women.
