Man beaten to death in Mainpuri village over meat issue

Mainpuri: A middle aged man was beaten to death for protesting against youths for eating meat near a temple in Rajalpur village in Ellau police station of Mainpuri district in Uttar Pradesh.

Manoj Yadav was beaten in the wee hours on Thursday by Ashok and his accomplices of the same village. He was rushed to the hospital but declared dead on arrival, said police.

Police has registered a case and investigation is underway.
