Man batters wife to death, surrenders to police in Jhansi

Jhansi: In a shocking incident, a man walked to police station with a blood soaked axe in Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh on Friday, to surrender himself.

Dhaniram, a native of Laraun village under Mauranipur surrendered to the police after battering her wife to death when he caught his 43-year-old wife Kusuma, in an objectionable position with some other man, said police.

The police have arrested Dhaniram and the investigation was underway.
