Major road accident in Lakhisarai, Bihar, 9 dead, many seriously injured in truck-tempo collision

A horrific road accident took place in Lakhisarai, Bihar.

According to the media reports, the mishap occurred near Biharaura village on Sikandra main road, when an auto got hit by a tempo coming from the front.

In this accident, 9 people traveling in the tempo died on the spot and about half a dozen people were injured. All the injured are being treated in Sadar Hospital, the condition of the injured remains critical. On the basis of mobile phone, the police is trying to identify the deceased. Police team is present at the spot. Let us tell you that at the time of the accident, about 14 people were traveling in the tempo, out of which 9 people lost their lives.

The people seriously injured in the accident were immediately taken to Sadar Hospital for treatment. Seeing the deteriorating condition of the injured, they were immediately referred to PMCH Patna. Eyewitness present at the spot, Anil Misri, brother-in-law of deceased driver Manoj Kumar, told about this incident.

He said that Manoj was asked to bring some people from Halsi to Lakhisarai. While coming from Halsi to Lakhisarai, there was a massive collision between a truck and a CNG tempo near Jhulauna in Ramgarh Chowk police station area. In this incident, 14 people were injured, out of which 9 people died on the spot.

The seriously injured are being treated at PMCH Patna, the condition of all is said to be very critical. The number of deaths may increase. Regarding this incident, city police station incharge cum inspector Amit Kumar said that the incident happened near Jhulna village.

People were coming from Halsi to Lakhisarai by tempo. All the deceased were residents of Munger and Lakhisarai. Information about this accident has been given to his family members. Only after the arrival of their family members will it be known where these people were going from Halsi.
