Major accident in Rajasthan, bus falls on railway track, 4 people died, 30 injured

According to the police sources, a major road accident took place in Dausa district of Rajasthan at 3 o'clock in the night. After this accident, railway officials and collectors, police officers and other people reached the spot and after that relief and rescue work was started.

At least four persons were killed and 30 others injured when a passenger bus fell on the railway tracks from a bridge in Dausa district of Rajasthan late on Sunday night.

According to the police sources, a major road accident took place in Dausa district of Rajasthan at 3 o'clock in the night. After this accident, railway officials and collectors, police officers and other people reached the spot and after that relief and rescue work was started.

So far four people have died in the accident. The death toll may increase. This accident happened near the collectorate of Dausa district.

The sleeper coach bus was going from Haridwar towards Udaipur. While passing through a culvert near the Collectorate in Dausa district, the driver suddenly dozed off and the bus broke the railing of the culvert and fell straight onto the railway track below.

Due to the removal of the bus, the Railways stopped the traffic for a long time, due to which many trains got delayed. Dausa Collector Qamar Chaudhary reached the accident site and hospital late in the night.

Chaudhary said that four people including two women have died so far. More than thirty people are injured in this accident and till now seven people have been referred to Jaipur.

The people who died and those who were injured in the accident are residents of Jaipur, Tonk and West Bengal. The bus would first stop at Jaipur and then leave for Udaipur. Many bones in the body of seriously injured people have been broken. It is being told that when the injured were taken to the district hospital late at night, there were no senior doctors in the hospital. This is also being investigated now.
