A shocking case of honor killing has come to light from Yamunanagar, Haryana. Here, angry with their sister's love marriage, her brothers killed their brother-in-law with a sword. After receiving information about the incident, the police have arrested four accused in this case. Police have identified the deceased as Abhishek. Initial investigation by the police has revealed that Abhishek and Rishu had got married a year ago.

He was living in Zirakpur for the last one year. Investigation revealed that Abhishek had come to Yamunanagar this Sunday night to attend the wedding of one of his relatives.

The deceased wife name was Rishu. Rishu's brothers had got wind of Abhishek's arrival in Yamunanagar. After this, her brother along with some of his friends came to meet Abhishek and attacked him with a sword. Abhishek and some of his friends were seriously injured in this attack. After which Abhishek died.

Regarding this matter, Yamunanagar City SHO Jagdish Chandra said that our investigation has revealed that Rishu's brother was against his marriage. The police is currently investigating this matter. Many more people are yet to be interrogated during the investigation. If anyone else's involvement comes to light in this matter, action will be taken against him also. Many cases of honor killings have been reported from different parts of the country, especially in Haryana, Western UP.
