Seven people have died in a fire in the cantonment area of Chhatrapati Sambhajinkar in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The dead include 2 men, 2 children and 3 women. According to the information, there was a fire in the clothing shop at 4 in the morning.

Fire brigade personnel reached the spot and brought the fire under control but still 7 people died in this fire. Sambhajinagar Police Commissioner Manoj Lohia said that the fire broke out in the shop of Alam Tailor and people lived on the floor above his shop. However, the fire had not reached the top and hence it is believed that his death was due to suffocation.

The cause of the fire in the shop is being investigated by the police. Besides, all the bodies have also been sent for post-mortem and only after this the real cause of death of all the deceased will be known.

At the same time, one person died and 6 others were injured in a fight between two groups in Bhiwandi in Thane district, near Mumbai, Maharashtra. This incident took place on Tuesday evening at KGN Chowk in Shantinagar area of Bhiwandi over an old rivalry. In this, knives and sticks were used extensively between the two groups. After the incident, a situation of tension has arisen in the area and due to this a large number of police forces have been deployed here.

Senior Police Inspector Vinayak Gaikwad of Shantinagar Police Station said that Zubair Shoaib Shaikh, 46 years old, has died in this deadly attack. At the same time, Istiaq Shoaib Sheikh, age 32 years, Abu Hamza Sheikh, Asif Wahab Sheikh, age 36 years, Sajid Wahab Sheikh, age 33 years, Shahbaz Sohail Sheikh, age 34 years, Noeb Sohail Sheikh were seriously injured. The family members of the deceased have alleged that this was an old case of molestation of the girl, over which there was a fight while playing cricket at Wafa Complex on 29 November 2023. Shanti Nagar police has registered a case of murder and has started investigation.
