CEO of software company dies during aerial stunt, was entering stage through an iron cage

Sanjay Saha, the Indian CEO and founder of a US-based multinational software company, died in an accident in Ramoji Film City. Company President Raju Datla got injured in this accident. The accident occurred during the silver jubilee celebrations of Vistex Asia-Pacific Private Limited.

Police reported that the people were in wooden-panelled iron cages hanging from the ceiling with 6 mm iron ropes. When the cage was being brought down, one of the ropes broke and they fell onto the stage. 56-year-old CEO Sanjay Shah died during treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad, while company chairman Vishwanath Raju Datla is battling between life and death.
This entire incident was recorded on video. Abdullapurmet police registered a case against the event organizers and the management of Ramoji Film City under section 304-A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) (causing death by negligence) and started investigation. No arrests have been made yet.
