The girl has been admitted to VIMS Pawapuri, where her condition remains critical. This incident took place in Sonbarsa Khandha of Sarmera police station area. Police have registered a case in this regard and investigation is underway.
Narrating the incident, the victim's mother said that she had left home for school in the morning after having breakfast, but when she missed the car, she left for school on foot. After going some distance, some miscreants started chasing her and teasing her. When she protested, the miscreants beat her mercilessly and tried to bury her in the ground in Sonbarsa Khandha.
She said that a person from the village was passing by, he took out the diary from the school bag and informed the family members on the address written in it. When she was taken out of the mud, there were deep wound marks on the girl's face and her face was swollen. She was immediately admitted to the primary health center for treatment, from where after first aid, she was referred to VIMS in a critical condition, where her condition remains critical.
The victim is a resident of Sarmera police station area. Regarding the incident, Police Station Head Vivek Raj said that she was beaten up for protesting against teasing, due to which the girl got injured and is undergoing treatment. On the complaint of the victim's family, a case has been registered and investigation is being done.
