A major revelation has come to light in the case of alleged kidnapping for ransom of a student living in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh from a coaching center in Kota, Rajasthan. Police have claimed that the student wanted to go abroad with one of her friends. That is why, while plotting kidnapping, he had demanded Rs 30 lakh from the family members. It is noteworthy that a man from Madhya Pradesh had complained to the police that he had found photographs of his daughter in which her hands and feet were tied. And Rs 30 lakh has been demanded from him in ransom.

After the complaint of the student's father, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia had talked to Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on this issue on Tuesday. Scindia assured the victim's family that the student would soon be rescued from the clutches of the kidnappers.

On the basis of the complaint about the incident, investigation was conducted by the police. Kota Superintendent of Police Amrita Duhan said that in the investigation so far, the evidence shows that no incident had happened to the girl. He was not kidnapped. From the evidence found so far, the incident appears to be false. The Superintendent of Police said that investigation revealed that the girl was living with her two friends in Indore, about 400 kilometers away from Kota.

The fake script of kidnapping of the student was prepared by the student's friend. The photographs which were found by the police showed rope and other material and the photographs which were taken of the girl student with her hands and legs tied. It is said to be from the kitchen of the student's friend's room in Indore itself. This claim has been made by Kota Police.

The girl was not in Kota for the last six to seven months and has not taken admission in any coaching institute or hostel in the city. “The girl did not study in any coaching institute nor did she live in any hostel,” the officer said. As far as the messages received by the girl's parents regarding the marks obtained in her examinations are concerned, prima facie it appears that they were not sent from any coaching institute.
