Woman gets lover to kill hubby

In a shocking incident, a woman got her lover and his friends to kill her husband and the lodged a missing report with the police.

The sensational killing happened at Phaphunda village in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut district.

According to the police sources, the woman had been having an affair with one Sourav, resident of Jahidpur village for the past few years.

Sources said that the woman hatched a conspiracy to kill her husband Dharam Veer and as part of the conspiracy, her lover and his friends called Dharam Veer for a liquor party.

They pushed Dharam Veer into the river after he got drunk, the police said. The woman then went to the police station and lodged a missing person report.

During the investigation however the police came to know about her affair. The woman confessed to her crime during interrogation.

The woman told the cops that she had give Rs five lakh, which Dharam Veer had received as compensation for land, to Sourav and got him killed after Dharam Veer asked for the money.

The woman has been arrested while a hunt was launched to nab the other accused persons.
