Woman gang-raped in Gurugram

A woman was allegedly gang-raped by a man, she had met on a dating app, and his friend at a hotel in Sector 50 area of Gurugram in Haryana.

According to the police sources, the woman, in her complaint lodged with the police, said that she had met a man through a dating app a few months back.

She said that she was invited by the man to meet him at a hotel in Sector 50. When she reached the hotel she found that there was another person with him there.

The victim said that she was offered food and that she lost consciousness soon after consuming the food items.
The victim said in her complaint that the two men gang-raped her and also prepared a video of the act. ‘’They threatened to make the video viral if I approached the cops,’’ she said.

Police said that a case was registered under the relevant sections of the IPC and a hunt was launched to nab the culprits.
