Woman gang raped in Ajmer forests
Sources said that the victim, in her complaint, said that she was lured by the accused on the pretext of taking her to her mother.
A 20-year-old woman was allegedly gang raped by three people in Ajmer district of Rajasthan, according to the police sources on Monday.
Police said that an FIR was lodged in this connection at Madanganj police station and a hunt was launched to nab the culprits.
Sources said that the victim, in her complaint, said that she was lured by the accused on the pretext of taking her to her mother.
The accused, however, took her to a secluded area in a forest, instead of taking her to her mother, where one of them allegedly raped her.
The victim was then taken to another forested area in the district where two accused persons allegedly sexually harassed her. The victim’s ordeal continued for several days as she was taken from one place to other and gang raped.
The accused persons dumped the victim near Khoda Ganesh Road and threatened to kill her if she approached the police. The victim somehow contacted her family members who took her home.
Police said that an investigation was launched into the matter.
