Prithvi Shaw to play in English domestic cricket

Indian batter Prithvi Shaw will play domestic cricket in England in August. He has signed a deal with Northamptonshire club. Pakistani pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi will also play from this team. Shaw will go to England in July after playing Duleep trophy.

He will play County Championship and Royal London One Day cup. London’s Domestic List A Tournament Royal London One Day cup will start from 1^st August. First match of his team will be played on 3^rd August. He played last time in 2021 for India.

He usually plays from Mumbai. He had scored 2627 runs till 53 matches of list A. He scored eight centuries and his strike rate was 123.27.

He will play four county matches for Nottingham as the part of County championship after the One Day cup.

He had played six test matches for India and scored 3679 runs with strike rate of 51.09 in 42 matches.
