Fake doctor asks for MBBS degree
Dr. Sharma got to know about this from GRMC, she informed the police. The accused were presented in court on Monday.
A man and women were caught seeking duplicate MBBS degree and marksheet from Jiwaji University of Gwalior. The women gave an application to take marksheet and degree from the university. She also worked in a government hospital of Malegaon on the basis of fake degree, according to officials.
Police arrested accused pratiksha dayma and Mohammad Shafiq on 9th June. Pratiksha lived in Maharashtra. They had taken duplicate degree which was originally in the name of Dr. Pratiksha Sharma, niece of BJP leader Satish Bohra.
Dr. Sharma got to know about this from GRMC, she informed the police. The accused were presented in court on Monday.
Dayma took this degree and marksheet through an agent. She gave Rs10000 to him. Dayma was a student of Masters of Computer Application. She had treated patients of Covid at Pulse care hospital in Malegaon as an intern. On these duplicate documents she got a job in a government hospital of Malegaon.
She used a fake name Dr. Pratiksha Harsh Sharma and applied with Rs100 affidavit stamp and submitted it.
According to officials, duplicate marksheets and degrees were released on 13 doctor’s name in last five years. It can be a big racket.
