Eleven charred to death as drunkard youth sets pub on fire in Mexico
Police sources said that the accused was bothering several women at the bar and as a result he was kicked out.
Eleven people were killed and six others injured when a youth, in an inebriated stated, set a pub on fire at San Luis in Mexico.
The suspect was later nabbed by the police after identifying his vehicle on the basis of the footage of the CCTV camera installed outside the Beer House Cantina bar.
Police said that one of the victims was a minor while another was a US citizen.
Police sources said that the accused was bothering several women at the bar and as a result he was kicked out.
Apparently enraged over being thrown out, the accused sprayed gasoline in front of the bar and then lit it with a blow torch around midnight on Saturday.
The fire quickly spread triggering panic in the bar and while some managed to come out of the premises safely a few others were trapped leading to the fatalities.
Police officials said that the injured were being treated at a local hospital. The suspect, who was said to be in an inebriated state, was being quizzed.
