Eight year old killed by maternal uncle after failed sodomy attempt
According to the police, the body of the boy, who had gone missing on June 23, was recovered from the maize fields near Ujhani by-pass in the district.
Police in Uttar Pradesh’s Badaun district cracked the murder of an eight year old boy and arrested his maternal uncle, who had allegedly strangled the boy to death after failing to sodomise him.
Police sources said that the uncle, identified as Sameer alias Lalla, had tried to sodomise but failed in his attempt and killed the boy after the latter threatened to expose him before his parents.
Sources said that the accused had confessed to the crime.
According to the police, the body of the boy, who had gone missing on June 23, was recovered from the maize fields near Ujhani by-pass in the district.
The cops zeroed in on Sameer after the CCTV footage showed him going with the boy on the day he had gone missing.
During the interrogation, Sameer told the cops that he had lured the boy on the pretext of giving him chips and took him to a secluded area where he tried to sodomise him. The boy, however, resisted and and also threatened to expose him.
Sameer then strangled the boy to death and hid the body in an under construction house. He later dumped the body in the maize fields and pretended to look for him with the parents.
