Actress Yuvika Chaudhary arrested under SC/ST Act for using casteist slur

According to the information, the police has released the actress on formal bail after interrogating her for three hours. The actress is alleged to have used derogatory words against Scheduled Castes.

Mumbai: Actress Yuvika Chaudhary and Prince Narula's wife were recently arrested by Haryana Police in a derogatory remark case. Recently, a video of the actress became quite viral. She was also trolled a lot due to this video shared on her social media handle. Actually, the actress used casteist words in this video. After which, taking action on this, the police arrested him on Monday.

According to the information, the police has released the actress on formal bail after interrogating her for three hours. The actress is alleged to have used derogatory words against Scheduled Castes. She made this remark in the month of May last, after which there was a lot of uproar. A case was registered against him under the SC/ST Act in the matter. A case was registered against the actress by Dalit rights activist Rajat Kalsan.


As soon as Yuvika's video went viral on social media, the people of the concerned class, expressing anger against the actress, protested fiercely against her at Hansi police station. After this, the complainants handed over the video to the police and lodged an FIR against them on the basis of it.

At present, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted him interim bail in the case. Yuvika had reached Hansi from Mumbai. During this her husband Prince Narula also appeared with her. Her lawyer Ashok Bishnoi said that, 'My client joined the investigation as per the directions of the High Court and she is presently out on interim bail'. Now the matter will be heard in the High Court on November 24.


Arrest Yuvika Chaudhary was trending against her on Twitter as soon as this video of Yuvika went viral on social media. At the same time, seeing the matter escalate, the actress tweeted apologizing, 'Hello friends, I did not know the exact meaning of the word I used in my last video blog. I didn't mean to hurt anyone. I apologize to everyone. I hope you all understand my point. love to all.'
