Petrol, Diesel Price Cut across country; Check revised rate

The people of the country are facing relief from inflation. Petrol and diesel prices have come down again on Saturday. Petrol prices have decreased by 11 to 13 paise, while speaking of diesel, its price has decreased by 12 paise.

New Delhi: The people of the country are facing relief from inflation. Petrol and diesel prices have come down again on Saturday. Petrol prices have decreased by 11 to 13 paise, while speaking of diesel, its price has decreased by 12 paise.

Government oil companies Indian Oil (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (HPCL) has reduced the price of petrol and diesel on Thursday.

Petrol prices in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai have come down to Rs 81.86, Rs 88.51, Rs 83.36 and Rs 84.85 per liter respectively. Diesel prices in these cities are Rs 72.92, Rs 79.45, Rs 76.43 and Rs 78.26 per liter respectively.

Petrol has been priced at Rs 82.19 in Noida, Rs 78.75 in Chandigarh, Rs 82.09 in Lucknow, Rs 84.43 in Patna and Rs 81.35 per liter in Ranchi. While diesel is priced at Rs 73.24 per liter in Noida, Rs 72.59 in Chandigarh, Rs 73.14 in Lucknow, Rs 78.18 in Patna and diesel 77.12 per liter in Ranchi.

Speaking of last July, the government oil companies had increased the prices of diesel only. During that time, the price of diesel was increased in 10 installments. Due to this, diesel became expensive by Rs 1.60 per liter. Now, since September 3, diesel has become cheaper by 40 paise per liter in three times.

Petrol prices were increased for 13 days in the month of August. Petrol prices started increasing from mid-August of last month which continued till September 1. If you talk about the capital Delhi, then in the last 13 days, petrol price was 1.65 paisa per liter, but the price of petrol had not increased for six days.
