Google removes Naukri and 99 acres apps from Play Store

Google has given a big blow to the domestic technology company Info Edge. It has removed two apps of Info Edge, Naukri and 99acres, from its Play Store. Google has said that it will not pay the outstanding payments to these two.

Google's arbitrariness:

Google has once again targeted the Indian IT industry. So Info Edge's two apps Naukri and 99acres have been removed. Google has said that both these apps are not following the billing policy. On Friday itself we had told that Google can remove about 10 apps from the Play Store.

Apart from Naukri and 99acres, Info Edge also has matrimony app Jeevansathi available on Play Store.

No payment due:

Info Edge reported that Naukri and 99acres apps were following Google's app policy since February 9. There is no payment outstanding on either of them. Company founder Sanjeev Bikhchandani said.

IAMAI issued advisory to Google:

Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) has issued an advisory on Google. IAMAI has asked to stop removing apps of Indian companies from Google Play Store. This advice to Google has come after the notice in which it has been said that the apps of many Indian companies will be removed from the marketplace.
