SBI launches new locker rules for customers

The bank recently amended the rules which will be released by 30th September. For this SBI has told its customers to upgrade the agreement.

India’s biggest public sector bank State Bank of India has come out with new rules for the customers having locker with the bank. The bank has asked it locker customer to sign a new agreement by visiting their branch. The bank gave this information through a tweet and said “we request our customers to sign the new bank locker agreement and read the terms and conditions before signing.”

The bank recently amended the rules which will be released by 30th September. For this SBI has told its customers to upgrade the agreement.

The Reserve Bank of India has ordered every bank to take sign of their 50% customers on the new agreement till 30th June and 75% till 30th September and 100% till 31st December.

All banks will also have to update the status of their locker agreement on the official portal of RBI.
