State Industries Minister Uday Samant gave this information and said that youth entrepreneur, female entrepreneur and Marathi entrepreneur will also be awarded.

He revealed this information during the ongoing Maharashtra assembly session where he said that the decision to give this honor to Ratan Tata was taken at a meeting of the state cabinet.

This award will be given for the first time ever. Before this, Tata had been felicitated with several awards like Padma Bhushan in 2000 and Padma Vibhusan in 2008.

Recently he has been also felicitated with a foreign award "Order of Australia" for his mind boggling contribution in business.

Apart from this he has been also awarded with CNN-IBN Indian of the Year in Business in 2000. Asam award in 2022 and IACC Lifetime Achievement award in 2020.

The diamond of India has given his huge contribution in the development of India in 85 years. He has retracted Air India Airlines into his empire which was taken controlled by the government in 1950.

In his leadership, Tata Tea acquired Tetley, Tata Motors acquired Jaguar Land Rover and Tata Steel acquired Corus. He launched Nano, the first family car in a affordable budget.

Not only this, TCS became the publicly trade company and Tata Motors had been listed in Newyork Stock Exchange.
