Musk-Zuckerberg 'fight' to be livestreamed on X

Musk had earlier in the year revealed that he and Zuckerberg would take part in a cage match for charity. The owner of the X also said that he had been preparing for the cage battle. ''lifting weights throughout the day...preparing for the fight....don't have time to work out so I just bring them to work'' Musk said.

The ''cage fight'' between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg will be streamed live on X and the profits generated by the battle would go to charity.

In a post on social media, Musk, who owns X (formerly known as Twitter), said that the ''cage battle''' between him and Zuckerberg, who was the owner of the Meta group of companies, including Facebook, would be live-streamed on X.

A video on X also showed the 52-year Musk lifting weights while being in an office at San Francisco, USA.

Both Musk and Zuckerberg have been teasing each other over the cage fight. The fight, however, has not been formally announced. Musk said that the proposed cage fight was a ''civilized form of war'' and added that ''men love war''.

Both Musk and Zuckerberg had, in June this year, agreed to fight, when the billionaire Tesla boss wrote he was "up for a cage fight" with Zuckerberg, who replied: "Send me location."
"Vegas octagon," Musk responded.

Musk, who completed a $44bn (£35bn) takeover of Twitter last October, joked: "I have this great move that I call 'The Walrus', where I just lie on top of my opponent & do nothing."

He also posted: "I almost never work out, except for picking up my kids & throwing them in the air."
Zuckerberg on the other hand last month won gold and silver medals in his first jiu-jitsu tournament.

The pair have been embroiled in a platform battle in recent weeks, with Meta releasing a direct rival to X called Threads, which saw rapid growth on its launch.
