Musk says Twitter has to follow Indian laws, Tesla to soon hit Indian market
Musk, who is also the owner of Twitter, had a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is currently on a visit to the USA.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that Twitter had no option except to follow the Indian laws if it wanted to remain in the country even as he vowed to bring Tesla to the Indian market.

‘’We have to follow the law as it exists in any country…there are different laws in different countries…we will try to ensure freedom of expression while abiding by the laws,’’ Musk told reporters.
In reply to a question if Tesla would be entering the Indian markets, he said that he was planning to visit India next year and asserted that Tesla might start selling here.
Musk said that there was great potential in India. ‘’India has greater potential than any other big nation,’’ he added.
The Twitter owner said that he was a great fan of Modi.
The prime minister, during his visit to the USA, would be meeting US president Joe Biden and the Indian daispora.
