Meta will soon launch a dedicated app to rival Twitter

Meta is famous for copying the features from other social media and launching its own social media. For example to take reel feature from tik-tok, stories from snapchat and so on which we have on what’s app, Instagram, facebook child companies of Meta. Recently Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta had hinted that he was going to prepare something big to rival Twitter this time.

Recently according to some media reports Meta is very close to launching an a dedicated App to rival twitter though the name is not still clear but codename of this project is “Project 92”.

According to some sources senior officers of the company had recently screened a preview of soon to be launched App to its employees during a meeting. As per The Verge, Meta will launch a stand-alone app with some features based on Instagram which will allow users to transfer information.

According to Bloomberg report in May, Meta has invited some celebrities to launch it like Dalai Lama and Oprah.

In an interview with tech journalist Casey Newton Meta believed that there was an opportunity for a separate space where creators and celebrities can share their posts.

It will interesting to see that if Project 92 will end-to-end encrypted like twitter for personal messages.
