Imagine travelling to Sydney from London, a distance of around 17 thousand kilometers, which currently takes around 22 hours, in just two hours!

It may become possible if the suborbital flights become a reality.

According to a report, US-based space agency, NASA is currently working on a supersonic aircraft, which it has named X-59 and which can take you to any corner of the Earth in just two hours.

The supersonic aircraft is set for its first test flight in the very near future.

A report published by Britains’ Civil Aviation Authority also hinted that by the year 2033, one will be able to travel to Sydney from London in only two hours. The journey currently takes 22 hours.

Suborbital flights were similar to the rockets used by Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin and Virgin Galactic jet program of Richard Branson. These flights can attain mind boggling speed-over 5600 kilometers in an hour.

The report said that Elon Musk and some others were already working in this direction and very soon we can witness arrival of such flights.
