Anand Mahindra is very fond of films. It has been seen many times that Anand reviews movies on social media after watching them. He has done the same in the case of 12th failure also. Reviewing the film on his X account, Anand shared a long post. Finally watched '12th Fail' last weekend.

If you watch only one movie this year, then definitely watch this movie, know why? Anand Mahindra told people why they should watch this film?

This story is based on real life heroes of the country. Not just the heroes, but the millions of success-hungry youth who struggle against extraordinary odds to crack one of the most competitive exams in the world.

Vidhu Chopra has done a great job of casting. Each character is believable in their role and they turn in serious, emotional performances. But Vikrant Massey has given a brilliant performance which is worthy of a National Film Award. He was not just acting the character's life, he was living it.

In his long post, Mahindra further wrote, "3) Narrative style: Vidhu Chopra reminds us that great cinema is about great stories. And special effects are no match for the simplicity and authenticity of a well-told story The highlight for me was the interview scene. Yes, it may sound a bit contrived, but the intense dialogue forces this scene right between your eyes and shows you what India needs to build a new India.

Actor Vikrant Massey also reacted to this post of Anand Mahindra. In his post, Vikrant has thanked Anand Mahindra for praising the film.
