Rapper and singer Yo Yo Honey Singh's 13-year-old relationship with his wife Shalini Talwar has ended.

Honey Singh and his wife Shalini have got divorced. The divorce case was going on in a Delhi court for quite some time. After a year-long litigation, the court on Tuesday granted divorce to the singer and his wife. Honey Singh was accused of domestic violence with his wife Shalini. His wife had filed a case alleging this.

The Saket Court (Family Court) judge Paramjit Singh granted divorce between Honey Singh and his wife Shalini Talwar after reaching a settlement to end all disputes. Also, as a compromise to end the dispute, Honey Singh will have to pay Rs 1 crore to his wife Shalini. After agreeing to this, Shalini withdrew the case filed against Honey. Shalini had accused Honey Singh of domestic violence and assault.

Rapper and singer Honey Singh married Shalini Talwar in 2011. Their marriage lasted for about 13 years but now their paths have parted ways. Both of them had filed a petition in the court demanding mutual divorce in September 2022, which has now been approved.

During the divorce hearing in the court, the judge asked Honey Singh and his wife Shalini for the last time about living together, on which both of them refused to live together. Lawyer Ishan Mukherjee appeared on behalf of Honey Singh. He said that the court has accepted the second proposal and has given the decree of divorce.
