Fashion designer Rohit Bal's condition is critical, he suffered a heart attack in 2010

Famous fashion designer Rohit Bal's health is very bad. He has been kept on ventilator in Medanta Hospital of NCR. There is no improvement in Rohit's health at present. This news has worried B-town celebs and their friends and well-wishers. Everyone is praying for improvement in his health. He also suffers from pancreatitis and was admitted to hospital for treatment earlier this year.

Fashion designer Rohit Bal has a pre-existing heart condition and had und ergone emergency angioplasty after suffering a heart attack in 2010. Due to this his health had deteriorated considerably. Known for his amazing designs, Rohit Bal is from Kashmir. He was born on 8 May 1961 in Srinagar. He is one of the most famous fashion designers of India.

Rohit has impressed everyone with his designs. He has designed clothes for many Bollywood and Hollywood celebs. Rohit, who graduated from St. Stephen's College, learned fashion designing in Delhi and has been worn by international celebrities like Pamela Anderson, Uma Thurman, Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell.

Born in Srinagar on May 8, 1961, Rohit Bal began his career in 1986, founding Orchid Oversea Pvt. Ltd with his brother, and launched his independent collection in 1990.

A St. Stephens College alumnus, he studied fashion at the National Institute of Fashion Technology in Delhi.

Rohit Bal won the 'Designer of the Year' award at the Indian Fashion Awards in 2006. He has also won 'Designer of the Year' at the Kingfisher Fashion Achievement Awards in 2001. He was awarded as the Lakme Grand Finale Designer for 2012.

In 2020, he was recognized as "Iconic Fashion Designer of the country" by the jury of the Rajnigandha Pearls India Fashion Awards.
