Following the complaint of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLA Chetan Anand being 'missing', senior police officers reached the Patna residence of former Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday.

All the RJD MLAs are staying at Tejashwi Yadav's residence. RJD MLA Chetan Anand's younger brother Anshuman Anand had lodged a missing complaint with the police after which the police went to Tejashwi Yadav's residence late on Sunday evening. Now a statement has also come from RJD on this matter, in which Nitish Kumar has been targeted.

RJD said that Nitish Kumar had sent thousands of police and surrounded Tejashwi ji's residence from all sides due to the fear of going to the government. They want to enter inside the residence on any pretext and do untoward incidents with the MLAs. The people of Bihar are watching the misdeeds of Nitish Kumar and the police. Remember, we are not among those who fear and bow down. This is a struggle of ideology and we will fight it and win because the justice-loving people of Bihar will oppose this police repression. Jai Bihar! Jai Hind

RJD's national spokesperson Manoj Jha had said that all the party MLAs will stay at Tejashwi Yadav's residence here till the trust vote of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Monday. Yesterday a video was released by RJD. In which Tejashwi Yadav is seen sitting with his MLAs at night. During this, Tejashwi Yadav along with his MLAs were singing the song "Don't tease us, we are being persecuted."

Floor test is going to be held in Bihar Assembly today. Nitish Kumar needs the support of 122 MLAs to save his government. However, he has claimed the support of 128 MLAs in front of the Governor. RJD has the maximum number of 79 MLAs in the 243-member Bihar Assembly.

Fearing desertions among party MLAs, Congress had shifted its MLAs to Hyderabad. Now these MLAs have returned to Patna. BJP MLAs were also in Bodh Gaya from where they have been brought to Patna. It is noteworthy that only 16 Congress MLAs had gone to Hyderabad. 3 MLAs were from Bihar only.
