Such a coincidence happens once in many years when a solar eclipse and a lunar eclipse occur in the same month.

There is such an amazing coincidence in October 2023. The last solar eclipse and lunar eclipse of the year are going to occur in this month.

In such a situation, one's Sutak will be valid and the other's will not. Meaning, one eclipse will be visible in India and one will be visible outside India.

Amavasya is also going to fall on the day of solar eclipse. Science considers any eclipse as an astronomical event, but in Hindu astrology it is considered an inauspicious event. Religious beliefs believe that negative energies start increasing at the time of eclipse. These are the exact dates of both eclipses. Let us tell you special things related to solar eclipse.

The second solar eclipse of the year is going to occur on the last day of Pitra Paksha. This day is also the date of Amavasya. The last solar eclipse of 2023 will take place on 14 October 2023. This eclipse will be visible mainly in America. According to Indian time, the solar eclipse will start at 8:34 pm on October 14, 2023 and end at 2:25 midnight. Because it will not be visible in India, its Sutak period will not be valid here.

This solar eclipse, which will occur on October 14, will occur in Virgo and Chitra Nakshatra. It will be annular and will not be visible in India. During this period, doing anything new or special is prohibited. It can be seen mainly in countries like West Africa, North America, South America, Atlantic and Arctic. The two previous solar eclipses in 2023 were also not visible in India.

The last lunar eclipse of 2023 will occur exactly 15 days after the solar eclipse. The lunar eclipse will start at 1:06 pm on October 29 and will end at 2:22 am. The duration of the eclipse in India will be 1 hour 16 minutes. This eclipse will be visible in India and its Sutak period will be valid. It is prohibited to perform puja during the Sutak period that occurs before the eclipse. During this time it is also forbidden to touch the idols of Gods and Goddesses.

In such a situation, try to stay at home and worship God. Avoid any auspicious work during the eclipse period.
