Often people offer Prasad to Goddess Durga in metal vessels like gold, silver, copper, steel etc., which should not be done. Negative energy comes out of them. Offerings to Goddess Durga should be made only in brass or earthen vessels. This vessel is considered auspicious. At the same time, after worshiping, Prasad should be taken immediately and distributed among the people. It is not considered good to keep Prasad with the Gods and Goddesses for a long time.

Apart from this, Bhog can also be offered in an old brass vessel, but it should not be dirty or broken. Try to use earthen utensils for offering Prasad. This is the best.
