ISIS spokesperson al-Adnani killed in Syrian city of Aleppo

Damascus: The Islamic State Iraq and Syria (ISIS) on Wednesday announced that the extremist organisation’s spokesperson was killed while operating military operations in Aleppo city of Syria.

“ISIS spokesman Abu Mohamed Al-Adnani was killed in an operation to repel the military campaigns against Aleppo,” said Amaq, the IS news agency.

About Al-Adnani:

  • He was a senior IS strategist and overseer of external terrorist operations.
  • He was a 39-year old Syrian national.
  • He was also the Chief Propagandist of the terror group.
