Pakistan arrests key suspect in 2008 Mumbai terror attacks

Islamabad: Pakistan security agencies have on Wednesday arrested a key suspect in the 2008 Mumbai 26/11 terror attacks which claimed over 160 lives.

People killed in the terror attack also included foreign nationals. Over 300 people were injured in the attack.

Court sends suspect on eight day remand:

  • Sufiyan Zafar is key suspect of the 2008 Mumbai terror attack
  • Anti-terrorism court sends him on eight-day physical remand
  • Zafar is accused of providing financial help to prime suspect Hammad Amin
  • Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) team, headed by Director Mazhar Kakakhel is quizzing Zafar
