Kathmandu: Nepal Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli on Sunday submitted his resignation after facing no-trust motion in Parliament.

He put forward his resignation to President Bidhya Devi Bhandari at the President’s Office, said officials.

He is likely to respond to the motion of no-confidence against his government.

Previously, three bills regarding annual budget were rejected on Friday.

The rejection came as a major setback for Oli government.
