Istanbul bomb blast outside govt building kills 2, injures 16

Istanbul: At least two people were killed while 16 others sustained injuries on Thursday in a car bomb blast outside government building in the southern Turkish city of Adana.

“Two people were killed and 16 were wounded,” said the governor of Adana. The bomb rocked near the entrance of car parking area, said reports.

"A vehicle blew up at 8.05 am at a parking lot next to the entrance of the governor's office," said government officials.

The explosion, carried out by a woman, is described as a terror attack. No terror group, however, has taken the responsibility of the attack yet.
